Who Would Have Thought... HIN+TSD=FUN

       Who would have thought that the SUMMER would be more hectic than finals week.. anyways I went from a few posts to none.. sorry about that.. but I'm back with a T1I lol so I'll be getting some nice pictures of upcoming shows. This weekend would have been the first show with the T1I but HIN/NOPI called and said they needed help so we volunteered.. Hot Import Nights and NOPI is going to have a "Gymkhana" contest @ Englishtown a.k.a. Time-Attackish Obstacle-Coursish tournament for $3,000. Also there is going to be drifting for people who's car meets Club Loose's B Group Spec. It should be pretty fun.. do NOT come there to b*tch and complain.. like I said on Facebook.. 90 degrees and up is no b*tching weather. No tire changer so bring rims and tires pre-mounted.. and be ready to slide for 2-3 hrs on Sat and 2-3 on Sunday.. $55 if you pre-register $65 at the gate.. 2 day pass for you and a friend.. sounds like a win win.

Good.. Safe..Fun.. and there has to be at least one hottie lol.. but no guarantees there..

p.s.(pt. 2) Show these two love.. drifting is different from most other sports because the film-makers are just important as their subject(the drifters).. the drifters drift... and the film-makers show the world.. the power is in their hands to make drifting as big here as it is in Japan and the documentary is all about "grassroots"... that's you and me.. "image is everything" Josh Herron and Will Roegge can make drifting as mainstream as snowboarding and skateboarding.. and that's not a bad thing.. it doesn't mean that it's going to be ruined by commercialization.. take hip-hop for example.. it started off in hallways... and now is arguably the most listened to type of music in the WORLD.. but you still have the underground rappers.. and mixtape/radio rappers like Fabolous.. who make millions by making albums and then stay true to themselves with mixtape releases.. if DRIFTING became more mainstream.. it wouldn't change drifting itself.. it would just make things possible that were once unimaginable in drifting.. (like Jay-Z getting Beyonce and/or being paid one of the highest salaries in the whole entertainment industry..hip-hop going mainstream got him both).. like regular coverage of events on national tv.. ESPN.. SPEED.. not just random highlights every 8 weeks.  I'm not saying this is what this one video will do on it's own.. but in time... I have no doubt that drifting here will change dramatically for the better.. Nightly ESPN Televised Drift Events anyone?
